Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Nevely collects, why we need it, and the choices you have.
Account and profile data
If you create an account, we keep your email address, a one-way hash of your password, display name, age, gender, country, plan, and profile image reference. We never store your password as plain text.
Chats and retention
We store one copy of each message in the shared conversation. If neither person saves a chat, it is deleted after 30 days. A saved chat stays until it is unsaved or deleted for everyone. Guests cannot save chats.
Account deletion
Deleting your account removes your access and profile information. Messages already in another person’s history stay there under “Deleted user” so the conversation still makes sense.
Safety and moderation
A report may include account IDs, temporary connection IDs, the reason you choose, and any details you add. We also use rate limits and automated checks to help prevent abuse.
Sessions and service providers
We keep login sessions in PostgreSQL and use a secure, HTTP-only cookie in your browser. Our hosting and database providers may process data on our behalf to run Nevely.
Your controls
In Account settings, you can update your profile, review blocked users, remove saved chats, or delete your account. Contact support with privacy questions.
